One of my favorite gifts I got this year is digis from my niece Kalee. They are adorable. I have only colored 2 of the 6 so far, but will probably get to the others soon. First up is the fairy. I love the eye on her. I colored Her with Copic Markers and used the following colors:

Skin: E00, 11, 21, 93
Eyes: B00, 01, 02
Wings: BG10 and Clear Wink of Stella
Outfit: YG01, 03, 05

The second is a self drawing of Kalee in her owl jammies. I also used copic markers on her. Colors are
Skin: E00, 11, 21, 93
Hair: YR 21, 23
Outfit: N02, BG72, 75

If anyone is interested in the digital art of Kalee Paxton let me know.

Thanks for looking!

Sketch

I love sketches and look for them on Pinterest all the time. There are several blogs that specialize in them and a lot of the time they run challenges with their releases. A few of my favs are: mojo Monday, sassy Sunday and page maps. When I don't have everything mapped out I head to one of these. Here are 2 cards I did with the same sketch. Hope you enjoy your stop here.

Thankful journal

The week of Thanksgiving Tara Clark hosted the challenge on our weekly craft challenge that was to write down every day for a week what you are thankful for. So I decided to do it for a year. I am up to date and have found some pretty cute images to put in so far and have so much to be thankful for. It will be a challenge to keep up on it but I am going to try... I will post as often as I can.

Paper tole

Have any if you ever tried paper tole? I have done paper piecing and it is similar but you use a stylus and mat to add dimension and then layer them with pop tape... I use one of my favorite Paper Shelter colored digi and printed 4 copies one for the bottom layer and then cut the other 3 up for the layers. I am not sure the picture does it justice but here it is;

And the rest goes like this scrapbook retreat, Mothers Day, Karlees bday, Memorial Day, Girl Scout camp and the Graduation June 8. I am tired already. Any ways here is a card that I made for Tara.
